House sales increase by over 10%!
We’ve seen a staggering number of properties reaching ‘sales agreed’ last month, with a 10.4% increase since December 2020.
In January, we saw 965 properties reach Sold Subject to Contract (SSTC), which increased by an additional 477 properties within the first two weeks of February.
Even when faced with a third lockdown and the upcoming end to the stamp duty holiday, this demonstrates to us an increasing level of urgency from buyers and sellers, who remain as committed as ever to their next purchase or sale.
